On the south coast we are not fighting dust, we are fighting salt. Sea air lays a fine film of salt on the glass every night; in the morning the sun dries it and bakes it on. With proper technique and a squeegee, that comes off fine in a normal clean. Limescale is the different story: if glass has gone years without cleaning and built up hard-water limescale, that mark can already be etched into the glass itself. That is no longer maintenance cleaning, it is a separate specialist service — we tell you plainly once we see the glass, rather than promise something we cannot guarantee.
On façades, large glazing and jobs of a certain size we use a pure-water pole system, even at height: the water alone lifts the dirt and dries without a mark or streak, no wiping needed. The filter has a real cost per use, so we keep it for larger jobs (commercial façades, residents' associations, oversized glazing). On a normal-sized home we stick with a professional squeegee, which is what that job actually needs.
